jantunes
Hi, I have successfully installed Leo4All v3 on my machine but when I try to boot it I get the "Still waiting for root device" error. This happens after it loads an iTunesPhone driver or something like that. I have searched the forums and I found out that my harddrive should be on ide0. The problem is that it is on ide1, as master, along with my DVD reader, which is the slave. I've already opened my machine and changed the cables to the only slot (that I was able to see) that was available but I later found out that those slots corresponded to ide2. What I basically want to know is how can I change to my HD and my DVD reader from ide1 to ide0 and if there's anything more I should do to solve this problem. Thanks in advance, Jantunes Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118018-getting-the-waiting-for-root-device-problem/ Share on other sites

Thanks in advance, Jantunes Can you post your specs especially your motherboard chipset. Make sure you have your chipset driver set when you install Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118018-getting-the-waiting-for-root-device-problem/#findComment-837460 Share on other sites
