Tiger on Acer TravelMate 240

Hello,

 

I have installed on Acer TravelMate 240 operating system Mac OS X 10.4.1 and the sound does not work, the application downloaded from the Internet I have to run through Rosetta. On the dashboard some windgets displayed only Lego cube with a question mark, possibly fall. And I can not change the display resolution (only 1024x768).

 

You do not know how to fix this? Thank you!
