adlai Posted March 12, 2006 Share Posted March 12, 2006 someone in another thread mentioned that to get OS X working on a laptop. a vga connector had to be connected so that the computer would think that an external monitor was attached. Also, about sleep mode and power saving modes. Are there different versions of OS X between the macbook pro's and the imacs? Or can you select a laptop profile like in windows? This is I think pretty important for all of the laptop users out there (since laptops are on a whole much more finicky than desktops.)
