I have looked around many forums and have found some ideas but this is what happens:

Hd formatted to fat32

insert iso disk and boot. it freezes and says

"Kernel version:

Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0: Sun Mar 2.00:11:08 SCT 2008; made by ToH:xnu-1228/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_i386"

i found a forum that mention the idea that this is caused because acpi/ apci being enabled. i tryed my best to solve that issue by going into my bios and trying to disable. unfortunatly my bios version F22 hp Phoenix (spelling) does not have a menu dedicated to power and i cannot change it.

i have tried -v, -x, -s, speedstep

all result in the same ending of the system freezing at the "kernel version" mark.

i talked to a friend and he recommended getting a copy of the manual of my bios so that i can see what exactly is going on with the replays and delays the bios is looking for.

(but that is still a theory)

if you can help id really appreciate it thank u

also can u provide a list of the available kernels for sse2 i looked all over and found nothing

:)
