Voivode
Hi, my goal is to install OSx Leopard onto my laptop that came with Vista Premium 64-bit already on it. I would like to keep Vista Premium 64-bit as my primary operating system but still be able to chose which operating system I boot into on start up. Eventually I would like to have three operating systems to chose from (Vista, OSx, and some version of Linux). Right now this is what I have - Kalyway 10.5.2 downloaded - HP Pavilion dv9930us Here is the link for it http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/HP-Pavilion...roductDetail.do So basically I am trying to find out how I set everything up on one hard drive as far as partitioning, installing and selecting which OS boots up I know this is a lot to ask, but I really appreciate any help that I get. I've been trying to figure it out fo myself but just keep getting more and more uncertain the more and more I read. rajindia
you have mutible option. first take a image of your vista partition to external drive. install kalyway using disk utility create three partition first one will be for vista second for mac third for any other you like. select mbr option and install and configure. once mac up and running restore vista image to first partition.start vista. get easybcd and make vista boot loader to have option to selects os"s. there is more many ways but it is simple and effective works well. How do I create a image of my vista partition? Also once I have the image what do I do with the original partition that vista is on?
