From reading everything around, I've come to these specs: (to be used primarily for photoshop, web development, etc. -- no gaming) Motherboard: ASUS P5K Deluxe WiFi AP CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD2600XT 512 MB RAM: Kingston HyperX PC2-6400 DDR2 800MHz DVD: Pioneer DVR-215 HD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Case, power supply and fans will be bought at a local computer shop. Monitor hasn't been chosen yet. Leaning toward an Apple Cinema Display 20" -- though it's hard to justify that the monitor costs as much as the whole rest of the computer. Oh well, I just can't take TN panels, gotta be S-IPS. Any advice or suggestions of alternate components welcome. Please post, even if just to tell me if the list is okay. I'm chicken, I need a push!
