alpha2zulu00
This is quite a straightforward problem. I've tested every kernel that has come out for osx86, and the only one that gives me good results is 9.2.0. All of the other kernels I've tried (I'm sure all of the ones available) give me an immediate kernel panic when I boot my system. I'm running on an AMD processor. Even modbin's 9.4.0 kernel does not work for me. Is there a known solution to this? I think I might be missing a step, but I've done my homework and came up with nothing. This is the one that works for me: Alpha2Zulu$ uname -v Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0: Tue Feb 26 21:21:24 SCT 2008; made by ToH:xnu-1228/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117541-why-cant-i-upgrade-my-kernel/ Share on other sites
