EGC Posted March 11, 2006 Share Posted March 11, 2006 GRUB Loading Stage 1.5 GRUB Loading Error 22 i finished the prepatched 10.4.5 installation succesfully in VMWARE... and the Virtual Machine restart itself alrite...but then it apears to be like what showing above... looks like GRUB can't find the system... (becuase when there's no system installed and i booted from harddisc i got the same error) so i tried to reboot my machine and see if i can get Mac oS X load natively.. the answer is no, same error... I suspect it's about my harddrive settings... I have 2 160G SATA and i set them to RAID0... i've also got a 160G IDE Hard Drive.. I create a primary (No logical / extension) partition on this IDE, formated using Mac's Disk Utitlites (HFS+Journal) and insatlled the Mac OS X on it... some one was talking about chain0 stuff... im know nothing about linux so i've no idea at all.. idea one please help? my spec: amd3000+ venice (see3) gigabyte k8t890 (via) 2G DDR 400 ram Sapphire ATI X700Pro 160+160SATA RAID 0, 160IDE (3 Hard Discs in totoal) btw.. under windows server 2003 (installed on dat RAID0), the Mac partition is shown "Active"...
