bunt Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 Hi , -> I have an 80 gb harddrive ,and i made 2 partitions 1) 55gb (ntfs) primary, active 2)20gb (fat32) logical then i install windows xp on the first partition ,uptill here everythings fine -> then i instal acronis os selector ,i choose windows xp as my default 1st choice ,again uptill here everthings fine -> then i rebooot ,installl mac os x kalway 10.5.2 on the 20 gb drive ,successfully(no probs while installing and i even used disk utility to make the format for the 20 gb drive as the one appropriate needed) ,uptill here again everythings fine , then it callls for an automatic restart after installation of mac os x -> then my PC restarts ,acronis OS loader comes and I see 2 OS'es if i try to boot xp i can very easily ,if i try to boot mac os x ,I get hfs+ partition error ,so i ried something different .. ->then i reboot my pc,acronis os loader booots and i start disk dircector suite with manual option ,and i try to make my logical partion as active ,primary , it does happen succesfully ,when i rebooot ,i again get the acronis os loader and get to pick either of the os'es ,when i try to boot mac os x ,it boots but hangs ( some error i can take care of) ,I repeat this processs by rebooting ,on the acronis os loader ,i get to see my mac os x with an error stating something wrong with boot record and cant load the mac os x again ( i mean atleast get to boot once after that cant ) could ne1 help me out ,please?
