I have an Intel GNTLKR Motherboard with Sigmatel 9220 Intel High Definition Audio that uses AppleHDA.kext. Audio is working from line-in input as output but the sound quality is really low with high levels of distorsion..anyone has the same problem? please help me because i really need audio...

Search is a very useful tool. Almost everyone with sigmatel 9xxx codecs has sound out of the wrong jack that doesn't even sound like HD Audio. Welcome to the club. Check out the X-Labs too. There's a guy in there writing a SigmaTel driver that should end up working with all HD Audio codecs..... :(
