dtakias
HI, Ive been using Osx86 on my toshiba quad booting laptop in the past. I thought I would give it another go with the new iatkos version. I am following exactly the same process as in the past, but after installing iatkos I get chain booting error and cannot get osx to boot no matter what i do. i have tried to install with the old darwin loader but that doesnt work either... my partition structure is: 1 ntfs (XP) 2 ntfs (Vista) 3 hfs+ (osx86) 4 extended 4.1 ext (linux) 4.2 fat32 (backup partition) its been some time some i've been following the osx86 journey so i was wondering if i am missing something. i am using mbr partition system as i always had. should i change to gpt and how would that affect my partition structure? any help would be appreciated! RobLaw0304
you shouldn't have to. i did the same thing (triple boot) using GRUB as the main bootloader and everything works when i "upgraded" to iatkos 4.0i. dtakias
I do the same thing as well. I use GRUB to load all operating systems. anybody else? i create my mac partition using gparted as fat32 and during installation i format it as hfs. isn't that what most people do?
