Murfman89 Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 I have a Dell m1330 and trying to install iAtkos 10.5.4. The install goes through, but when the system goes to reboot, it locks up on the apple logo with the stop sign (circle with line through it) never making it to the desktop. I've gotten 10.4 Upchuck to work and install, but nothing works and I would prefer leopard. If someone could help me get to the desktop, then I can troubleshoot the rest. Specs are... Apache Thunder Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 Before me or anyone else here can help you, you must first boot with the "-v" option so that you can see the actuall error message that causes your system to stop. Press F8 when darwin comes up and type "-v" to enable verbose mode. (without quotes) When you find the error message(s), write them down and post it here so we know what went wrong.
