filamoon Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 My eth0 was working fine in kalyway 10.5.2. Then I upgraded to 10.5.3 using the combo update package. Everything else works fine except the ethernet! The IO80211.kext is labeled as red in Finder. Does anybody have the same experience or know how to solve it? Thanks! What I did was replace my /System/Library/Extensions/IONetWorkingFamily.ktext from the Kalyway DVD and ran these two commands kextload -t /System/Library/Extensions/IONetWorkingFamily.kext kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions/ Rebooted and it worked.
