Not that well I suppose,

as SONY usually has some custom drivers for very custom functions. I had a 13inch subnote VAIO these days... Tried to install Leopard, no success. Finally got it to start setup, but installation failed after all.

You can try for yourself, but as VAIOs are critical, when it comes to drivers (even under windows), I don't think you'll become satisfied.

I've installed iAtkos on my Vaio NR. There're only two things not supported are:

1) wifi, but driver are W.i.P. I don't know what card do you have installed, but I think it's an Intel wifi card. If you're lucky it could be the 2200 and this is supported.

2) internal display if you want to have QE/CI support. I don't know if you'll have this problem, because it seems a problem for GeForce 8400M GT. Vaio with Intel GMA seems to have few problems to detect the internal display.

I suggest you Kalyway or iAtkos, they work pretty well with VAIO's. The next step is win the fear and have a try. Don't be shy, it's not dangerous for your notebook health. If you don't like it or if it doesn't work, you still can use Vista, or XP, or a Linux distro.
