Best 17" hackintosh laptop?

I'm looking to buy a 17" laptop for ~£700 that has good OSx86 compatibility.

I've found on the wiki that Dell Inspiron 1720s are a pretty good match, apart from resolution change (do they mean can't change after boot, or can't change at all?), but I'm apprehensive about Dells as my friends' Dell laptops always break.

I'd be happier with a Toshiba, but the models on the compatibility list aren't available in the UK? I can only see L and P series. Would something like this be suitable?

I've also found this:

which seems like a pretty good spec at a reasonable price.

Can anyone recommend some other models based on personal experience?

The first Toshiba I'm not sure about whether the ATI 3470 graphics card will besupported with acceleration with the Triakis drivers of netkas. The Zoostorm notebook looks promising, but it's not known whether sound and networking will work, although there are USB solutions to those problems.

Working laptops that I can see in this Wiki HCL include the Inspiron 1720, Vostro 1700/1710, HP DV9xxx series (there's a thread for these)

Of course there will be other notebooks that work, which aren't listed in the Wiki

Okay so I've narrowed it down to two models:

Dell 1720 £629

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7250 (2.00 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

17.0" Widescreen WXGA+ (1440x900) TFT Display with TrueLife™

3072MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [1x2048+1x1024]

320GB (5.400rpm) SATA Hard Drive

nVidia® GeForce™ Go 8600M GT with 256MB DDR2 dedicated graphic memory

Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive including Software

HP DV9820EA £599

AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 Level 2 cache 512 KB + 512 KB

17" WXGA+ High Definition BrightView Widescreen 1440 x 900

3072 MB RAM

NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8400M GS 256MB

3D Sound Blaster Pro compatible sound 16 bit integrated

SATA Hard Disk Drive 250 GB 5400 rpm

So the main difference between the two models is AMD CPU vs Intel CPU and Geforce 8400 GS vs 8600 GT. Is there a significant difference in performence between these components under OSX? Both work fine with osx86 right? Is there any advantage of going with the dual hard drives on the Inspirton and trying to boot off them seperately?
