keeponjammin
Hi, I want to enjoy OS X on my pc. But since i'm an total noob in this , i think i need some help. I've downloaded Iaktos 2.0i and i wanted to install it. I had a great tutorial but it freezes from the point of the grey apple bootscreen. So i wasn't able to install it. I don't know if it's even possible on my pc, so that's why i used CPUZ to get all the information of my complete PC. Can someone please tell me if my pc is supported, and if so, can he please tell me which OS X dvd i need to download and what i need to do? If it's possible i want to create an dualboot system with xp and osx without losing all my windows xp files. Thanks in advance cpuz.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/116814-please-help-the-noob/ Share on other sites
Jeepmb
I assume you are using a dual-boot tutorial? If you are, than just make sue you have a seperate clean partition to install to and your set, it won 't touch windows (unless you use the Chain0 method). Just install the disk to the non-windows partition (when you get it working). And If you have one (I can't download the .txt file you supplied), disable your internal network card (or internal ethernet card) in the bios and try again. The disk nor the operating system would boot for me when I had my internal network card on.
