dell xps m1330 w/ leopard and vmware fusion vista audio problem!

hey guys, i just installed leopard 10.5.2 on my dell xps m1330 using iatkos 2.0 with pretty much no problems. got everything working just fine. then, i decided to install vmware fusion on my new leopard with the vista cd i have for my dell. install went by with no problems. so now my dell boots to leopard and i use vmware to run vista. everything was just a breeze except one issue...

 

i have sound on my iatkos leopard, but do not have sound on my vmware fusion vista! i tried installing the driver from the dell website and i also tried using the dell cd. i get the same error on both installs.

it says the following: "exiterror:error=device object not present, restart the system and run setup again."

 

i am running vmware fusion ver. 1.1.2.

 

can anybody help me plz!? i am so close to having this perfect, yet so far.
