everlast75 Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 I've installed kalyway 10.5.1 with vanilla kernel and tried to run 10.5.3 combo update afterwards - the problem is it won't even run the installer..it starts and then disapears I have Asus P5KPL, Q6600, nvidia7300 - everything works great with kext for built-in LAN card after installation of 10.5.1. Another question is - should I update and which packages and methods should I use? is it better to install Kalyway 10.5.2 install DVD and then do the updating? greetz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Espionage724 Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 Well from the 10.5.2 DVD I ran the update (ran into a few problems regarding my graphics card) but other then that it at least started up. However you obtained the update (lets say you got it from torrent) then have your torrent program check it back over incase it downloaded improperly.
