rhel Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 I have an Hp zv6015 laptop which has an amd and onboard conexant AC-link audio, which I can not get working. I have tried every kernel instal; tried editing AppleAzaliaAudio kext, and still no success. My audio hardware does not even work when XP is first installed--only after a driver installation. Everything else but the wireless hardware is working fine. What this causes me to think, is that I need my windows conexant AC-link driver cross-compiled to mac platform. Is this possible? Has anyone already achieved this, or do I have non-compatible hardware that will never engage with OSX. Maybe the 10.5.3 or 10.5.4 update addresses this issue? Please help if you know the fix. I have read through the posts, and there isn't anything that addresses my specific machine.
