I've got a Ati Radeon 9550 (128mb,rv350) and i want to ensure that i have all the drivers that i need.I've heard that i have to flash my card's bios (to 9600) to have a driver and i just don't know how.I want the easiest way because i'm not i genius . Oh,one more question: do i need to install specific sound driver (when i install os x my sound works,but only the central speakers - 2- -> i have a 5.1 system - what shell i do to make them all work?) thank's and excuse my bad english!! derekreid Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 The 9550 will work fine in Tiger, no need to flash up to 9600. Getting QE/CI to work takes some work...I got it working on my 9550, but I've moved to Leopard and am working on getting it to work now. Not sure about the sound. Good luck!
