habhab Posted July 20, 2008 Author Share Posted July 20, 2008 hi, i have lnux codec dump for AD1988codec_dump.txt WHEN I USE IT ON AppleHDApatcher1.2 "Taruga" it say AppleHDA Patcher - 2006/2007 by Taruga v1.20 _______________________________________________________ Codec : Analog Devices AD1988 Vendor Id : 0x11d41988 Subsystem Id : 0x104381e1 _______________________________________________________ This codec is not working at the moment, it needs more research can anyone help? westwaerts Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 there is no help for a AD1988A since now. stereo out with modified Azalia.kext is all you can get, or go for a compatible sound card.
