Installed "Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8" and like to know if Mac internally update function can be used? 2). I seen the "Combo updater" for 10.5.3 around, but what is the risk trying it? Is it worth it then my system works flawless? 3). If I do update by the above, can I then by the "Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8" DVD and my time machine backup bring my system up and running agian? I looked by search for these answers/questions but seems to me be unanswered in generally! Synaesthesia Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 You need a hacked update like Kalyway or Jas 10.5.3 update. Else read through the forums, there are guides to update. If you are happy, leave it alone. However, the 10.5.3 update does add a new feature to Spaces and makes Wi-fi re-connection more reliable and faster. Do a new install trhough the DVD and my Time Machine backup help in case somethings go wrong a day?
