mac_maestro
Chameleon works great for me - dual boot Vista and Leopard. Unfortunately, i don't know of a way to change the size of an HFS+ partition. Easiest thing to do is to make a backup of your mac install to an external usb drive (I use Hatchery_H1, it works great and it's free). Then use your mac or windows install disk to partition your drive. if you're using a mac install disk, use disk utility. Make sure your mac partition is HFS+ Journaled,, and your Windows is set to MS-DOS or MS-DOS (FAT). If you use your windows install disk to format, then it doesn't matter - when you go to install Leopard you'll have to reformat that partition before the install anyways. My best advice for a dual boot is to have your mac install on an external usb drive, and your windows install on your computer. That way if you want windows, just leave the usb drive off. If you want mac, start up from the usb, using the BIOS preferences at startup Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/116402-anyone-explan-to-me-how-to-redimension-hfs-partition/#findComment-824709 Share on other sites
