I've just got a brand new notebook based on the new Centrino 2 platform from Intel (aka Montevina).

Here are the specs:

Intel Core 2 Extreme P9500 (2,53GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 6Mb cache)

Intel PM45 chipset + ICH9M

nVidia GeForce 9300m GT with 256MB GDDR3

4GB DDR2 800MHz memory

320GB SATA 2 hard drive

Intel WiFi Link 5300 450Mbit WLAN (802.11 a/b/g/n, which I know will not work)

Would this work with Leopard? If it does, it would be an incredibly fast notebook :(

I'm trying anyway and i'll let you know asap.

Succes!!! well... kinda..

I've installed Leo4All v3 with no problems, and I updated to 10.5.3 and then to 10.5.4.

Chipset, LAN (Gigabit, Realtek), Webcam, USB, Keyb & Mouse worked OOTB..

Also the Intel High Definition Audio shows up in the System Profiler, but I have no sound.. didn't test this yet, but I think I need the correct codec kexts.

And then there's the video.. it doesn't work.. I've tried all sorts of things, EFI string, NVInject, Natit And I know I have filled in the correct Device ID (0x06e910de) but my LCD turns off when Leopard boots.. it starts.. but no screen, no backlight even..

Idea anyone??
