ok so i have a pc with kalyway 10.5.2 installed. everything works... able to boot to ubuntu, xp and os x fine.

The one big problem I have is that my mouse will go crazy sometimes. It will become unresponsive or over responsive. Basically I lose all control. I can do a winkey+tab (alt-tab equivalent in windows) and it helps sometimes but only lasts for a little bit then its back to messing up. It might happen in the first 5 minutes from boot or work for hours with no problem. only solution is a reboot.

my keyboard is a logitech dinovo edge and my mouse is a logitch g5

does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to get this working better? could I have a virus?

i love os x but this is making me sad ;)

NOTE: I was using a program called steermouse to fix the stupid apple mouse acceleration but removed it thinking it was the problem but it didnt help fix it.

My entire system was unstable with Logitech Control Center (I have a Logitech Trackball). I had to start over after installing LCC. There is a mouse driver that will "accelerate" things a bit, but doesn't cause the OS to go haywire, it's called "MouseZoom". However, since upgrading to 10.5.3, I haven't needed to use that, either. My Logitech mouse usually works fine.

after messing around I dont know if its the logitech mouse that is the problem.

i have found that the mouse will still go crazy with a generic ps/2 mouse.

the network goes down when the mouse goes crazy (all downloads go to 0.0kbs)

the network will also go down when doing alot of netowrk "stuff" (torrents, inet, email, downloads, etc) all at once.

I now think it might be a network problem. for now I guess i will live with it until I can afford a mac. :(
