alexxx123
i am having the same problem. i thought it might have been my dvd but i dont know what the problem is. i noticed that the dvd is much slower than my 10.4.3 installation dvd. hmm. maybe installing 10.4.3 first then upgrading with the dvd mentioned above? only problem is that i have 10.4.3 with wesely's and an HP with ATI so it doesnt boot :-/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11632-installation-problem/#findComment-72995 Share on other sites

sydney99
I have had similar problems. The first image I downloaded gave me this error while installing "essentials". I downloaded the image again, then I received the error while installing "fonts". Once I deselected "install additional fonts" I was able to complete the install of 10.4.5. It must have been a corrupted portion of the download. For both images I tried multiple types of discs and burning programs (alcohol, nero, roxio) and received the same error all the time. My advice: if you can't deselect the option that is causing the error then you need to download the image again.
