Epickfail
In the Leopard install screen the Disc Utility won't let me partition my harddrive. When I click partition i get the "spinning wait cursor". When I try to format a partition the computer hangs on erasing the drive and turns off. Mr. Psychopath
Are you trying to dual boot with Windows, or set everything up on a new hard-drive? I'd recommend you get another harddrive to put it on. That way, you don't have to mess with Windows partitions at all. derekreid
If that's not an option, there are more ways to partition your drive. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/116162-kalyway-wont-install/#findComment-822302 Share on other sites
Epickfail
I figured out the problem, my computer fan wasn't running and my computer overheated, causing it to shut-down.
