Hello, is with great pleasure that I register this as prestigious and recognised forum about MacOS, I have a small problem which needed a help, I will describe:

I installed on my laptopthe MacOS Kalyway Leopard 2 times, created the partition, i've not installed the drivers once and the other time i've installed the graphics driver, and began to install, so good, but at the restart after passing phase of loading the boot white with the apple logo is to be on the login screen, is anything odd way with color and black and white fading. Does anyone know how to solve this situation? My graphic card is an Nvidia 7400 Go.

Thanks!

Ok mister Maestro (Rui Costa)... i hope that u r an Benfiquista...

Maybe u installed wrong drivers for ur laptop. Did u try MacVidia and NVKush drivers already... the other way u can go to ur settings and try to change to resolution may be it can work,,,

But the way that i recommend u is to uninstall the current drivers and install a new one... For me the trustable drivers are from NVInject.

so check this out me little boy http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...y_Vaio_VGN-FE45

the drivers for ur card is NVinject 2.1

Boa sorte rapaz... Diz qualquer coisa depois...

Já agora rapaz qual a versao do Kalyway que instalaste de raiz, sem updates claro? 10.5.1 ou 10.5.2

Lol bla'cappuccino, no i'm not, im from F.C.PORTO :) dont take me bad.

(ontopic)

I could do that if i could see the desktop... But i cant see anything, it comes black... I'm a IT Professional (servers, blades, etc etc...) but with macOS i'm a newbie lol.

Thanks :D

Eu não estou em casa não te consigo dizer a versão.

hihihiiii... mac é que...

Here is the solution for ur trouble... u must delete some kext, use the propmt when u boot ur OS... read this

Notes: if you have problems on reboot with video gfx (blue or black screen)

All you have to do is just press F8 at Darwin's prompt and then type -s (single user mode) then

at root type mount -uw /

and /movevideodrivers

then it will be prompt to move video drivers by class ( nvidia ; ati ; or intel gma) voila!

type yes to confirm or enter to skip !

I could give u a command to disable the graphics drivers but i forgot... cos if u could disable the graphics u could access ur Leopard and after that, delete some kext in extensions folder... i mean some graphics files that allow ur device get crazy...

Enjoy...

Para a próxima que não te responder é por seres Portista...

may be u r using a different version of kalyway that this command is used... if u don't mind tell me which kalyway u installed... if is it 10.5.2, it must work cos the command was tested successfully in that version...

Other question, did u make any update to ur system already?

cheers..

Well, i've downloaded kalyway 10.5.2 now and installed it already without the drivers, but, here's whats not working:

Sound

Network Lan and Wireless (dont know how to activate it and i think that dont have wireless driver)

Drivers for 7400 Go Graphic Card

I've researched and i think that is something about NVCAP...

Why u don't try the iATKOS v4i (10.5.4 Intel only) released days ago... it includes new drivers

u can find it in the bay...
