monteie
I am wondering if someone could lend a hand here. I have an ATI 9600 SE AGP which is currently supporting resolutions higher than 1024x768 thanks to Callisto. The things I couldn't get working are QE or AGP. The Callisto docs say that inserting CallistoFB in the appropriate spot will give me QE but I have not been able to make it happen. Mostly I am concerned withe getting AGP up and running. I am currently running Kalyway 10.5.2. Video profiler shows the information below. Radeon 9600SE AQ: Chipset Model: Radeon 9600SE AQ Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x4151 Revision ID: 0x0000 Displays: SyncMaster: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Any help appreciated. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/115943-help-ati-9600-se-agp/ Share on other sites

mrgerbick2
If you want to get it recognising the AGP bus youll need to get hold of AGPGart.kext. I'm currently trying to get a 9600 working (4152), and stumbled across your thread... Hope it helps, though you've probably sussed it out by now!
