p_golf785 Posted July 15, 2008 Share Posted July 15, 2008 im currently trying to install tiger. 10.4.10. i want to install it on my physical drive so i can dual boot vista and osx tiger. so when get into mware i choose the custom setup of a virtual drive and select the physical drive choice. before this i had started to install it on just a virtual drive but then i had realized that this wouldnt allow me to dual boot so i didnt. when i start up the virtual drive it says "Operation on file "\\.\PhysicalDrive0" failed. If the file resides on a remote file system, please make sure your network connection and the server where this disk resides are functioning properly. If the file resides on removable media, reattach the media." any help? im sure this is a common problem around on these forums. please just help me out. thanks. and i have tried disabling the wifi internet and took out the DVD and everything. it still gives me the error.
