alextait Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 I have fully patched 10.4.5 OSX86 dvd. I do not have a sata drive and yet when osx asks me to select the destination of the install my drive is not listed. Does anyone know how I can try to fix this. I have booted multiple times with the same result. thanks for any help. My last post was removed on this subject... does anyone know why ? robbo007 Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 I think this was answered below. You need to click on the top menu Disk Utility and create a new MAC partition before installing. Then the Hard Disk becomes available.
