teecee Posted July 15, 2008 Share Posted July 15, 2008 Need some help straightening out a File/Open/ problem. Within an applications File/Open/, on the left side of this dialog there is a section with a listing of DEVICES, PLACES and MEDIA and for some reason my main disk and network icons are gone under DEVICES. It started off first with the Network option disappearing then after update of 10.5.3 and after a week of use the main disk icon disappeared. Even though I can navigate the hard drive without it, it's getting annoying. Since I'm a total noob with my fist Mac experience of maintaining this system I would greatly appreciate some help.
