I haven't tried installing Hackintosh (JaS 10.4.8 sse2 sse3 with PPF1 and PPF2.iso) until just a few days ago. It didn't go very well, it worked fine until i installed the broadcom driver. Then it didn't boot, i tried again twice but i had the same problem. I'd try again or try the leopard installation but my older brother with whom i share my computers won't let me. He thinks i'm fu*king up our laptop and would rather have xp or ubuntu on it. --- I wish i could have Macintosh or in this case Hachintosh on every computer i have. Even if i cant have it on my laptop, atleast i have a mac mini. I downloaded Leo4all v3 and followed the instrucions you gave. The installation finished successfully, but when I rebooted and tried to start Leopard it stops in the "still waiting for root device" stuff. How do I solve this?? Thank you beforehand! Jose_76 Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 Well ..u can boot from hd...till a certain point ...didn't u?......did u try boot with -v.....and check where the script holds.In case u can't boot the hd perhaps mbr not ready......boot with the dvd....it starts the hd by default. Perhaps do repair disc.....boot dvd>diskutility>repair permisions Yes, it boots with -v till it gets to "still waiting for root device" and no further.
