tux91
Hi guys! I had Kalyway 10.5.2 install running on vanilla kernel. After updating to 10.5.4 using netkas method my keyboard and touchpad don't work anymore. My USB mouse works however, but I have automatic login disabled so it doesn't do me any good)) I suspect I gotta replace some kexts (I made a backup)? But which ones? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/115672-keyboard-and-touchpad-dont-work/ Share on other sites
c_c
Boot with -v and check the error messages. You'll come to know if ACPIPS2nub is being loaded or not. If it is and you still have this problem - try replacing the IOUSBFamily.kext. Worked for me. tux91
Replacing IOUSBFamily.kext didn't work((( Are there any ideas which kexts might be the problem? What if I restore the whole Externsions folder from the backup? ObsidianPhoenix
View the 10.5.3 mysticus update thread linked in my signature. It contains a keyboard / trackpad archived file that fixed my issue when I upgraded to 10.5.3 and the keyboard / trackpad didn't work.
