I am having NVDARaesman.kext for NVIDIA 8800 GTX Sli problem and my Asus Extreme Striker Mother Board.

Cant find any answer on this forum with search button and cant find it on google. The only thing i have found is spam and spiral spider web of spam regarding this problem.

NVDARaesman.kext has caused me lots of pain and heartache i have to delete it to start my Leopard or else i will get a message saying i must hold down the start button and reboot. Even if i reboot i get same problem.

I have used every inject from NVinstaller aswell as NVinject it doesnt seemed to work with my SLI.

I have took out 1 video card and the problem still exist.

If you feel like helping please do.

thanks in advance.

NVinstaller v52 installed ok but i got no Core Image from Hardware and no Quartz Extreme from hardware support either. Tried other NVinject and NVinstaller i kept getting same problem.

I am also stuck at 1024x768 and if i used Graphics Mode i could only get 1280x1024 Max Rsolution.

The only way i could boot up and go into Leopard is to delete NVDAReasman.kext alltogether.

how do i fix this problem please dont spam this thread with flag options.

My video card Device iD is 0x0191 where do i put this in NVDAResman.kext pblist to make it work? which line?

Try 2GB Ram.

Use the mount -uw /

/movevideodrivers in command in single user mode

Use the nvinstaller by punkd, select the nvinstaller with the same amount of ram as your gpu.

I chose 512 (I have the PNY Nvidia Geforce 8500GT)

After the installtion remember to repair permissions using disk util.

Mine worked this way, after restart. With a huge selection of resolution and QE + CI and all correct info in system profiler.

Before install it was saying my card was 32mb. After it said 512 which is correct.

I also installed the heatsink from my old 7600gs because I hate the noise of fans on gpu's.

All is fine. I also have the same mobo as you..
