aitikin Posted July 13, 2008 Share Posted July 13, 2008 Alright, so I've been trying to get Skype to work with my system. First of all, it hates firewire interfaces, so I tried taking an out from my Fireface 800, using a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter and plugging it into the Fireface and then plugging the other end of the 1/8" cable into the line in on my AC 97 audio. It also happens if I plug into the Mic jack on the sound card. It gets the audio, but it sounds extremely odd. I wish I could explain it better, but I can't. In trying to do this, I did discover Soundflower, but I couldn't get it to work with using Soundflowerbed to take the input from the fireface and use it with Skype taking Soundflower.
