Hello everyone, first of all, I tried looking for answers but did not seem to find any, probably because I'm so new to all of this.

So I am trying to install Leopard on my brand new HP computer already running Vista for dual boot purposes. Here are the specs:

HP Pavillon m8324c-b

Processor and Memory:

  • AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 dual-core processor 6000+, 3 GHz
  • Up to 2000 MB system bus
  • 2 MB L2 cache
  • 3 GB (shared) DDR2 SDRAM PC2-5300 (2 x 1024 MB, 2 x 512 MB), upgradeable to 8 GB (4 x 2048 MB)

Drives:

  • Primary: 320 GB Serial ATA, 7200 rpm
  • Secondary: 320 GB Serial ATA, 7200 rpm
  • LightScribe CD-RW\DVD±RW dual-layer combo drive
  • 15-in-1 card reader

Display and Video Card:

  • HP w2207h 22-in. flat-panel TFT active-matrix display with BrightView™ technology
  • Up to 1535 MB (shared) PCI Express™ x16 NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8400 GS (256 MB on board)

I have both iAtkos v1.0i patched for AMD processors and Kalyway 10.5.2 burned on DVDs, tried both of them and none seem to be working. I decided to concentrate my efforts on Kalyway, since it seems to be the most stable installation. When I boot the DVD in -v mode, it stalls at "NTFS volume name ... version 3.1" for all 3 of the NTFS partitions on my HD, but doesn't show the unallocated partition I created for this install.

What are my options?
