Hi,

I am on a triple boot desktop computer made of:

AMD 3800+ processor SSE3 enabled

Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe Mainboard

ATI Radeon X1300 graphic card on PCI-E

Western Digital 160GB hdd on SATA

And I have been struggling for the past 4 days to make the 10.5.2 version of OS X usable on this system.

To the moment, I have only managed to get it to boot into the blue screen of death.

Theese are things I have already tried:

- checked that my corresponding [vendor/devid] is right there in info.plist under the IOPCIMatch key.

- switching between analog/digital outputs of the graphical card

- installing both NATIT_For_X1000_series and ATIRadeonX1000SeriesGraphics drivers

- booting with various combinations of '-x', '-f', '-v', 'platform=....'

- booting with '-s', then issuing 'mount -uw /' and './movevideodrivers'

- reinstalling

Next thing I want to try out next is installing something from the NatitX1300.r1v1.Installer.zip package made by Diabolik. But... I dont know how to do it from the command line. And because I shall copy NatitX1300.r1v1.Installer.zip on a cd in order to have access to it from OSX, I believe I need to mount the optical drive too ... which I dont think is showing up under /dev folder. So, firstly - how to mount the dvd drive ? Secondly - how to install Diabolik's driver for my card ?

And I also have trouble using the AppleNForceATA driver.

Because my only hdd is a SATA one, I need to use that driver. but the driver randomly turns the hdd off / on. Without this driver I get the "still waiting for root device" thing.

Thanks a lot !
