veamon
Here's my current setup. Right now, I have XP running, with 2 drives that are software mirrored in XP. I'm wanting to break the mirror, and use my disk(0) as my osx one. Then, if something goes wrong, I can boot off my 2nd disk, rebuild the mirror, and I'm up and running. Right now, this is what my c:\boot.ini looks like: [boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Boot Mirror C: - Main" multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Boot Mirror C: - Backup" What I'm wondering though, is when I install, I choose MBR instead of GUID. Does that wipe out my current one? And if something goes wrong, how would I get it back? I assume I could just plug in my 2nd drive as the master and boot off of it, but I'm not sure. Ideas?
