Hello to all,

I recently installed Leopard 10.5.2. I am having trouble installing the drivers (or kexts) to enable my graphics card (Ati Moblility X1700). I have searched through the forums here and on other sites extensively, but have not come across a solution. It seems as if many people have successfully installed the X1700, and I was just wondering if someone could provide me with some simple steps to help.

At the moment i can use Leopard in a lower resolution of 1024x768, or up to 1152x864 if I specify so in boot up.

I have tried using ATIinject and other files modified by others (changed the EDID) and have not had any success. Most of these attemps would result in a blank screen after boot, or a dim backlight with vertical lines on the screen.

System

I will provide additional information if necessary.

If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
