My specs are in my sig. Basically I've searched over and over but I can't find a concrete answer. I believe the the Sata along with the Nforce sata controller could be the problem. Whenever I boot up the cd I boot up in "-s" mode and it takes about 3-5 minutes to get to the language selection screen. I don't mind that but the problem is when I go to disk utility and select the partition I made in vista(Using PerfectDisk), I can't erase it. The partition is a Raw partition unallocated. I partitioned it first and then made a raw simple volume in vista. When I hit erase it hangs for like half an hour and then it'll say "Unable to erase this disc" or something like that. I can't go on from there so idk what to do. I have a spare IDE hard drive but I really don't want to use that old thing for this.
