modula
G5 dual 2.5 PPC - OS10.5.4 I have an extended desktop setup with an Apple 17" ADC 4:3 in the ADC port and a Samsung 19" LCD TV connected via VGA. The resolution on the Apple monitor is fine, but it's a bit too low on the Samsung. The Samsung's optimum setting 1440x900 @ 60Hz, but there is no option for this in the display settings. I have trawled the internet and this is obviously a problem that has been around for a while, but I couldn't find any recent posts regarding this. Is there a way to get Leopard to use 1440x900 without using a 3rd party bit of software? If not, is there anything that anyone can 100% recommend for doing this? I tried displayconfigx and something went wrong (not sure if it was user error or software), leading to me uninstalling this...any help would be much appreciated as I want to use the Samsung for graphics work but the current resolution just isn't good enough.
