wynston Posted July 10, 2008 Share Posted July 10, 2008 Ragazzi, scusate l'ignoranza: è possibile installare la Kaly da una chiavetta usb, copiandoci sopra i file contenuti nell'immagine iso e impostando l'ordine di boot in modo tale che legga dalla chiave? proximo Posted July 11, 2008 Share Posted July 11, 2008 Purtroppo non è così immediato! Il bootloader del DVD è da 2K mentre quello della pendrive o del disco è da 512 byte. Bisognerebbe scrivere sulla pendrive tutti i dati del dvd più il bottloader del disco, in più scrivere un bootloader nuovo da mettere nel settore zero che carichi l'altro bootloader, al quale comunque bisogna cambiare tutti i riferimenti dell'unità dalla quale leggere i dati. Non sono sicurissimo di quello che dico, ma intanto che nessun altro risponde, può essere un inizio. Avevo avviato un progetto assembler di questo tipo, per riversare i i dvd di installazione qualsiasi su HDD esterno per alleviare i tempi di installazione, ma al momento l'ho interrotto perchè gli esami mi pressano. Prima o poi lo riavvierò.
