ideasman
gday fellas.. having had a very good play with the tiger-x86-flat image on a hdd, i thought i'd look at it all from another angle. i've got the dvd image that works flawlessly on a 915g chipset. just wondering if i could duplicate from the dvd to a hdd and boot off it - just to save burning a new dvd each time i change something. any one have any ideas? or has anyone been able to do this? EncodedProcess83
ok... i have an idea what might work, but id actually be surprised if it did. if u had an extra disk/partition and are completely familiar with dd on partitions [unless u have a 4gig disk?], i think you just might be able to pull it off if you make an image of the dvd [obviously has to be img. i think u could use ultraiso, or transmac, and fix it with PearPC HD Resizer] and dd it to a drive. remember, this is a complete guess, but i dont see why it wouldnt work. give it a shot if ur rly lookin to do it that way. if someone has a much easier way, or i am completely wrong, post. lol.
