KidCastro
Hi Guys, I would love for some pointers or help in doing this on my system, gigabyte ds3p mb. I want to triple boot; Vista, Ubuntu and kalyway os x.. The only success:- I have setup vista 1st and ubuntu 2nd, SO grub picked up on both OS and I have then been able to get a dual boot.. but then I installed os x using GUID which I think was a problem and started getting the b0 error.. Prior to setting up os x I couldnt even log into vista with AHCI sata enabled in my gigabyte ds3p but without AHCI enabled I couldnt select my hdd during my os x installation. So that must be enabled.. I'm left with a conflict between vista and os x. Now I am gonna clear out my entire hdd and start from the beggining can some one help me out please I want to know the easiest and practical way with which boot loader to use as well? I have been able to install os x on whole drive, have done that before, no problem.. I also have paragon partition manager, so that helps me play with partitions. Thanks, Justin M Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114963-arghhh-please-help-i-cant-get-a-triple-boot-working/ Share on other sites
wmarsh
Add Leopard to your grub boot menu. Here is my tutorial. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry606752 Your MB uses ICH8R unless you switch the BIOS to AHCI mode. You can modify OS X to support ICH8R. Then you won't have to switch your bios. This is my tutorial, which worked thru 10.5.2 http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry511085 For 10.5.3 and 10.5.4, this kext works better: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...rt=#entry775003 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114963-arghhh-please-help-i-cant-get-a-triple-boot-working/#findComment-815140 Share on other sites

Thanks, Justin M Hi there, since you have OS X on a GUID rather than MBR partition (like myself, enabling me to use EasyBCD 1.72 in Vista), you should look at this thread.....it may fix your tribooting issues....
