PolyPill
I installed the Kalyway 10.5.2 on my Asus P5B with an ICH8 chip set. That worked really well, I'd say almost flawlessly. I upgraded using the Kalyway 10.5.3 update and ever since after a certain amount of disk io the system crashes. Seems to be after about 400mb, doesn't matter if its reading or writing or whether the drive is USB or SATA. The methoer it is being accessed lso doesn't matter, file copy, scp, file share, they're all the same. I upgraded to 10.5.4 and nothing changed. I'm not even 100% sure its the disk io but it can sit for days with low usage or even streaming large video content withouth issue but try to read or write too much and it'll cash every time. Is there an easy way to just install the drivers from the 10.5.2 dvd? Was there a change in these drivers from the versions? This is really pissing me off and I'd appreciate any help.
