benjmole Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 Hello all, first of all i'd like to say how much this forum has helped me and, i have a fully working Kalyway 10.5.2 install. my specs are as follows: amd athlon 64 x2 6000+ processor 4gbs ram nvidia 8500gt however, what would i do if i wanted to update to 10.5.4? is that even possible? kind regards ben Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's a big update, including the Leopard Graphics update and support for lots of printers. You can try the JaS update (easier) or the Kalyway Combo update (harder to install, but more options at install - be sure to read the install instructions). In either case, be sure to perform the update on the active currently booted system. And with Kalyway be sure to install the appropriate kernel before you restart... After I got to 10.5.3, I was able to update to .4 using Apple's system update. But there doesn't seem to be much difference between .3 and .4, so I went back to .3 with the kalyway update and everything's humming now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
