BjarneG
Finally got the EN8500GT working, with NVinject 0.2.1. Only 256Mb recognized but I could live with that if it wasn't for the horrible performance. The screen updates way to slow to be acceptable. Is there anything I easily can do about it? Otherwise, what graphic card is recommended? 8500.tiff Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114859-low-performance/ Share on other sites
BjarneG
I should probably add that I run Kalyway 10.5.2. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114859-low-performance/#findComment-814061 Share on other sites
Maximus Arelius
What port is your monitor connected to? Port 1 or 2 on the graphics card? Also if you used NVInject you should use the Scott Angel installer that lets u select what what version on NVinject you want to install for the amount of RAM you have in your card. BjarneG
Well tried the installer earlier, but turned out with a black screen. Checked it out now once again and noticed that I'd used the wrong installer. So ran the installer just now, and it works 512 Mb VRAM recognized. How ever the performance is still poor I'd say. Gonna give it some time though to test more in depth. Thanks.
