balderdashian
I had Kalyway 10.5.2 working great for many months. I backed up using Time Machine and then I ran the 10.5.3 Combo Update. It didn't work, so I booted off an install CD to restore it with Time Machine. The process goes through fine and it says my system has been restored. But when I try to boot off the system disk, I get nothing. My computer just freezes as if there is no boot disk. It's as if the EFI emulation is gone. Any help would be great. I have lots of stuff on there. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114737-cant-restore-from-time-machine-please-help/ Share on other sites

burns82
Its a Problem with the Bootloader. In an other thread Hagar wrote to install chameleon. I found the chameleon-website via Google - search for: chameleon x86.hu This worked for me.
