Inserting a disc freezes system...

Hey,

 

I am having some trouble with my 10.5.2 Kalyway installation...everything works fine except when I go to insert a disc (in this case a WoW disc) and I get the 'black screen' or whatever saying to hold the reset button, etc.

 

Tried searching but the search function on here doesn't seem very reliable...gives you results based on each keyword used so I end up getting tons of pages upon pages of irrelevant threads.
